Edinburgh International Science Festival

The Edinburgh International Science Festival is the UK’s largest science festival with over 270 events for families and adults. Each year, the vibrant and varied programme includes everything from fun family days out to talks and discussions from pioneering thinkers. Young festivalgoers enjoy six floors of sensational science at City Art Centre and a host of hands-on activities at the National Museum of Scotland, whereas the adult offer includes a wide range of world class talks and events at Summerhall and various other partner venues across Edinburgh.

In 2017 Science Festival explores the intersection of science and technology with the digital and creative industries in the information/digital age through the programme themed Our Connected World.

Edinburgh International Science Festival team also delivers Abu Dhabi Science Festival, primary school education programme Generation Science and Careers Hive, 5 day-long event at the National Museum of Scotland.
