Internationally acclaimed all-male dance company BalletBoyz® are broadcasting the innovative feature length film Young Men, commissioned by BBC, to seven arts venues around the UK this spring. The debut film from the celebrated company is a moving cinematic portrayal of the desolation of warfare, directed by BalletBoyz Artistic Directors Michael Nunn OBE and William Trevitt OBE and features a haunting score from celebrated singer songwriter Keaton Henson.
The film is shot without words and instead represents the experiences of young men at war through carefully choreographed dance and an emotive score from Henson. Shot on location in northern France, Young Men features the company of 10 dancers as a group of young soldiers who experience the indiscriminate brutality of warfare. Read the full press release here.
