Kathryn Hunter leads in the first of two world premiere productions exploring the work and life of Karn Blixen at Print Room at the Coronet. 6 March 2017

Print Room at the Coronet have today announced further details for Out of Blixen and Babette’s Feast, two productions which will run consecutively in a mini season of work that delves into the life and work of the world renowned story-teller, Karen Blixen. Alongside these two heterogeneous pieces of work, an auxiliary programme of talks and exhibitions will take up residency in the beautiful Victorian venue. 

Out of Blixen will receive its world premiere running from 3 April 2017. This brand new production from Riotous Company, is directed by the award-winning Kathryn Hunter. Following Out of Blixen, the creative team from the hugely successful Sweeney Todd in a Pie Shop reunites to present Glyn Maxwell’s commissioned adaptation of Blixen’s much-loved short story, Babette’s Feast, with its world premiere on 8th May.
