Under one week until Ron Arad's Curtain Call at The Roundhouse. 4 August 2016

With under a week until Ron Arad’s installation Curtain Call opens Bloomberg Summer at the Roundhouse, the Roundhouse have announced new information about the eclectic live music programme. Curtain Call Live is a series of one-off bespoke gigs that will take place in and around the major installation, which comprises of 5,600 silicon rods suspended from the ceiling of the Roundhouse’s main space. The latest line-up revealed today includes: a totally immersive gig experience from Gaika based on his recently released and widely critically acclaimed mixtape SECURITY; Ivor Novello-nominated DJ Matthew Herbert’s A NUDE which will unflinchingly examine and amplify the real noises of the human body in a performance piece using naked dancers, cameras and lighting; cutting edge visual art commissions set to world premiere pieces played by the London Contemporary Orchestra (LCO); and a brand new site-specific, participatory art and sound installation KIMA.
