The Corner Shop worked with writer and performer Damien Warren-Smith A.K.A Garry Elizabeth Starr to bring his hilarious new show Greece Lightning to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe’s Underbelly in August 2022.
During the festival, The Corner Shop organised a photo call atop Edinburgh’s iconic Calton Hill inviting local and national press. Images from the photo call were published across local and national outlets including The Scotsman, The Sunday Post, The Edinburgh Reporter, and on the front page of the Scottish Edition of The Times.
Key reviews were achieved in Scottish Daily Mail, Starburst Mag, The Wee Review, Fest Mag, Chortle, Broadway Baby, Beyond the Joke and British Theatre Guide, with the show receiving a 5* review from 5 outlets.
In total 48 pieces of coverage across print and online were delivered for Greece Lightning with a combined potential audience reach of 44,066,992.
