Entertaining visitors of all ages from across the globe, Thursford Christmas Spectacular has become one of Europe’s biggest Christmas shows, it has been seen by over 5.7 million people since opening its doors in 1977 and regularly attracts up to 50 coaches a day from far and wide.

The Corner Shop PR strategised and executed a fully integrated Press and Social Media campaign for Thursford Christmas Spectacular 2019 with a focus on the following objectives:

  • To increase international profile
  • Harness regional broadcast coverage
  • Appeal to a younger and broader commercial audience
  • Continue growth of national broadsheet coverage
  • Continue to focus on groups and travel media
  • Grow and engage Thursford’s online communities and harness positive word of mouth
  • Devise and create content to support the PR and social media campaigns

For the second year running, the campaign was a monumental success, securing coverage in a range of national print publications and television opportunities.
