In 2023 Unearthed Festival were looking for a creative team to help support their social media, marketing and PR efforts in advance of the festival’s ninth iteration.
Located in rural West Wales the festival combines wellness and wild abandon featuring a global music line-up alongside a wealth of workshops ranging from conscious kink to aerial acrobatics.
A labour of love for co-founder Tim, on whose fertile fields the festival unfolds each year, they were looking for people who would embrace the Festival’s ethos, consolidate social media strategy, and engage local and specialist media in order to raise the festival’s profile both locally and nationally.
In our first year we increased page visits to Instagram by 781% and Facebook by 950.4% and we achieved 36 pieces of print and online coverage across local, specialist and national press. Online previews and features included regional press (e.g. The Western Telegraph, Tenby Observer, West Wales Chronicle), specialist outlets (e.g. Reviewsphere, Broadway World, Buzz Mag) and national outlets such as Yahoo.com. Broadcast coverage on BBC Radio Wales, Radio Cardiff and Bro Radio was also achieved and the total reach of all coverage topped 64 million.
